In an effort to preserve server performance voxels will be reset at every server restart.
This does not effect voxels that are near player's grids. If you build a base into a mountain side this will prevent the server from cleaning up the voxels, so any holes you make will persist as long as your grids are within 5km.
As voxel deformation is a fairly large performance hit to servers, we do want to discourage players from going too crazy. You are allowed to build in voxels, but please refrain from boring holes threw planets just to say you did it. We are running a script that should remove your grid from the planet when you reach a certain depth.
Attempting to circumvent this can result in a ban. If you have any questions about the voxel cleanup, please feel free to open a ticket and a staff member will assist you.
